valu8.io is the data controller for the personal data described here. Contact us at hello@valu8.io about anything on this page.

• Account details — your email address, your name if you enter one, and which sign-in method you used (email and password, or Google). Needed to give you an account and paid access.
• Subscription records — plan, status, renewal date and a customer reference from our payment processor. We never see or store your card number.
• Newsletter address — only if you sign up, plus where on the site you signed up from.
• Technical and usage data — the ordinary request logs any website keeps, used to keep the service running and secure.

Our legal bases are: performing our contract with you (account and subscription), your consent (newsletter), and our legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, keeping the service working).

• Our hosting and database provider, which stores the site and your account record.
• Our payment processor, which handles checkout, cards, invoices and renewals.
• Our email provider, which sends confirmation, password reset and newsletter mail.
• Google, if you choose to sign in with a Google account.

These providers act on our instructions. We do not sell your personal data or share it for advertising. Some providers operate outside the EEA; where they do, transfers rely on standard contractual clauses or an equivalent safeguard.

We use cookies and browser storage only to keep you signed in and to make the site work. There are no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Clearing them signs you out.

Account and subscription data is kept while your account is open, and for up to six years after closure where tax and accounting law requires it. Newsletter addresses are kept until you unsubscribe. Logs are kept for a short operational period.

You can ask for a copy of your data, correct it, have it deleted, restrict or object to processing, or receive it in a portable format. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter from any email we send. Email hello@valu8.io and we will respond within 30 days. You may also complain to your local data protection authority — in Greece, the Hellenic Data Protection Authority.

Data is encrypted in transit, access to the database is restricted by row-level policies, and passwords are stored hashed and checked against known breach lists. No system is perfect; if a breach affects you we will notify you as the law requires.

The service is not intended for anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect their data.

If this policy changes, the date above changes with it and material changes are flagged on the site or by email.
