Background

Prenetics Global (PRE) is a Nasdaq-listed consumer health company. Its growth engine is IM8, a premium subscription nutrition brand co-founded with David Beckham and sold direct to consumers across many countries. CircleDNA, a consumer genetic testing line, remains in the mix but is no longer the story. Legacy COVID testing and clinical genomics assets have been sold or exited. What investors own today is mostly an IM8 scaling bet with a smaller DNA testing sidecar.

PRE stock trades on whether a celebrity-backed supplement subscription can keep growing without burning the cash that growth requires. Management leans on retention, higher-frequency subscription plans, athlete and influencer partners, and a customer-acquisition facility designed to fund marketing against cohort economics. Positive free cash flow has started to show up as the subscriber base got larger. That is the inflection the market is testing. Supplement categories are noisy. Claims, churn, ad costs and copycats can all reverse a fast start.

CircleDNA adds a prevention and personalization angle. It is secondary to IM8 revenue. The strategic cleanup into a pure consumer-health focus removed distraction. It also removed optionality from older clinical bets. Execution is now about launching adjacent IM8 products into an existing subscriber base and proving international demand is not only launch heat.

For the picture to shift, IM8 would need sustained subscription economics through quieter marketing periods, not only record quarters while spend is heavy. Until then Prenetics remains a consumer brand company whose Nasdaq ticker still has to convince that the nutrition franchise is a lasting business, not a campaign.
